What is the benefit of being listed on SWA’s Educational Resource list?
SWA actively promotes this list at consumer events, sponsorships, and through online and print advertising. Our goal is to connect individuals who want to learn with those of you who teach. As you know advertising is expensive. Collectively we can get more bang for our buck than we can as individuals.
How do I get listed on SWA’s Education Resource list?
To be listed you must be a member of SWA. SWA offers three types of membership, associate, retail, and wholesale. Once you are a member you will be sent a password to the Member Area where you can log in to fill out a simple online form.
What membership level is appropriate for me?
Associate members are teachers, designers, educational institutions, guilds and supporters—any individual or nonprofit organization that promotes spinning and weaving education.
Retail and wholesale members operate for-profit brick and mortar or online spinning and weaving businesses.

New members are sent a welcome packet that includes a password to the Member Area where you can fill out a simple online form to be listed on the Educational Resource (“Learn to Spin & Weave”) page.
How do I join SWA?
Start the process on the Join SWA main page. On the left hand side click on which type of membership level is appropriate for you. You can either join online now and pay via PayPal, or print out a PDF membership form and mail it to us.
When will I be listed as a member on the SWA website?
We batch all our new members and update the website monthly. It usually takes four to six weeks to list your information.
When will I be listed as a teacher on the Educational Resource list?

We hope you will consider joining SWA and posting your information on our educational resource listing. Together we can grow!
